Did you know?

 

1.  A specific fragrance- some scents are stronger than others.

 

2.  The size of a room- A smaller room will contain the fragrant vapor in a higher concentration creating a stronger impression. A larger may need more candles.

 

3.  The air flow and quality- since fragrant vapors are carried in the air, factors such as humidity, air flow, open window, etc. may affect the movement.

 

4.  The size of the wax pool- The greater the surface of liquid wax the more fragrance may evaporate in the air.

 

5.  The size of the flame-  A large flame will burn more of the fragrance vapor before it can evaporate into the air.(keep the wick trimmed).

 

6.  The temperature at which a fragrance vaporizes- Some fragrances vaporize more readily.  Allowing the vapors to go onto the air to a greater extent.

 

7.  Other sources of  fragrance- Our fragrance perception are easily confused by multiple scents.

 

8.  Other burning candles-  Their fragrance may burn off the fragrant vapors.

 

9.  Length of exposure- Our noses desenitize to fragrance over a period of time.

 

10.  The person smelling the fragrance-  the sence of smell varies from person to person,  much like vision, hearing and taste. what one may smell the other may not.

 

11.  Trim you candle wick to 1/4" from the wax after each use. This will keep the candle from any possible fire that may start from your wick being too long.

 

12.  When putting the flame out on your Paraffin or Soy candle, put the flame out by dipping it in the melted pool of wax. This will keep your candle from smoking when you blow it out. 

 

13.  When burning your candle for the first time. Burn it for the amount of hours as the diameter of your candle. candle wax has memory and it will allow your candle to burn as even as possible evert time. exp: If your candle is 3" in diameter, burn your candle for three hours the first time.
